WALES v France - 25th March 1972 - an official 8 page guest list booklet nicely signed to the reverse by Welsh players Delme Thomas, Gareth Edwards, Walter Williams, JPR Williams, Arthur Lewis, John Taylor & Mervyn Davies & Derek Quinnell. This was Quinnells first match for Wales where he appeared as a last minute replacement, the BBC Grandstand programme showed in it's opening credits Quinnell rushing his way to the crowd anxious to make it onto the pitch, it was a picture that endeared the Llanelli man to the nation, he had already toured New Zealand with the British Lions in 1971 but had yet to represent Wales. This was is his big moment.
