& IRISH LIONS 1955 GRAMAPHONE RECORD - 'THE LIONS' - A 78 rpm
double sided record produced by the South African Broadcasting
Corporation titled "The Lions" - Songs Sung by the British
Rugby Touring Team 1955. The 'A' side contains Sospan Fach, Evening
Moonlight, The Pride of Petrobo. On the 'B' side are 'Sarie Marais,
Hip-Ho-Hee-Took-Ee-Took-Ee-Hey, Jeo Lele Mama and Down By the River.
The 1955 Lions were famous during this tour for their singing ably
led by the fly-half genius Cliff Morgan. The record is in excellent
condition with no visible scratches. it is not contained in it's
original cover so is sold as 'the record only' but will be contained
in a sleeve/cover of another artist.

1986
New Zealand v France official touch judge's flag. This flag was used in
the test series between France and New Zealand in 1986. The All Black team
known as the 'Baby Blacks' (because of the suspension of several key first
team players due to the Cavaliers tour of South Africa) saw Sean
Fitzpatrick make his debut for the All Blacks. Widely regarded as one of
the greatest All Blacks, Fitzpatrick went on to captain NZ many times
including their first series victory in S Africa, he retired in 1997. The
touch flag is embroidered on the one side with
New Zealand ‘s Silver Fern on black and on the other side with French
Cockerel on blue. An outstanding piece of rugby history. This

Australian Rugby Football Schools Union 1973-74 touch flag/pennant,
from the 1973-4 tour of the UK, measuring 55cm x 26cm there are two
loops stitched to the side which indicates that this is more likely to
be a touch flag rather than a pennant. This item is in excellent

England v Wales Schools 1913 touch judges' flag. This
embroidered flag which measures 47cm x 30cm was used in the
intermediate (under 16) schools match at Leicester on March 1st 1913.
England schools triumphed 17 points to 3, only their 2nd victory over
Wales.
The flag has some light marks and folding creases, for it's age it is
in very good condition. From the collection of
a former WRU President, COA provided.

Wales v England Schools 15th March 1924 touch judges
flag. A double sided, genuine embroidered touch judge's flag (no stick),
the size is 38 x 25cm (15" x 10"), there are one or two stains
and some very small holes. The flag is sold together with a copy of
the official programme for this match which Wales won 6 - 3. A great
and unique item of memorabilia from
the 1920s.
